ICP-AC1 PLC Auto Capping Machine
The PLC-based ICP-AC1 automatic capper is built on the reliable and robust foundation of the original ICP-AC1 series, offering an advanced level of precision and control. Designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), this evolution provides the same high-quality performance, now enhanced with up to eight distinct timer functions for more refined control over the capping process.
One of the key features of the PLC version is the ability to store and recall previous settings, simplifying the changeover between different containers and caps. This eliminates the need for manual recalibration, making the process more efficient and consistent.
The ICP-AC1 is a pneumatic capping machine that integrates seamlessly with a conveyor system. It accommodates a wide range of container heights, from 0 to 450 mm, and employs an air torque motor with adjustable torque control. Unlike traditional capping machines that rely on single-timer systems—leading to potential under- or over-tightening—the ICP capper ensures precise torque adjustment and control, preventing errors during the capping process.
The PLC interface allows for detailed tuning of all machine functions, from sensor signals to container stabilization before capping, ensuring a smooth and reliable operation tailored to the needs of your production line.
The NEW 2026 ICP-AC1 features a floating motor design, where the chuck shaft is independently supported in precision bearings rather than being directly mounted to the air motor. This means the motor delivers pure rotational drive only, without being subjected to lateral or upward forces created during the capping process. The result is more consistent and reliable torque application, improved torque repeatability, and smoother operation, ensuring every cap is applied accurately and securely.
By removing structural loads from the air motor, internal wear on the motor shaft, bearings, and seals is significantly reduced. This greatly extends the life of the air motor — the most critical and expensive drive component — while reducing maintenance and improving long-term reliability. The floating motor design ensures the ICP-AC1 delivers consistent performance and durability, even in demanding production environments.
